State Representative Terry Morrow (St. Peter) announces his recent appointment to several national legislative committees.  Reflecting his service on Minnesota’s transportation finance and policy committees, Representative Morrow will serve on Transportation Committee for the National Conference of State Legislature (NCSL).

I am excited to represent Minnesota on the NCSL Transportation Committee.  Working with representatives from around the nation will place me in the perfect spot to secure Minnesota’s proper place in our nation’s transportation networks.

Representative Morrow will represent Minnesota on the NCSL Legislative Effectiveness Committee.  He will serve as Minnesota’s alternate on the Midwestern Higher Education Council.  Membership on Minnesota’s Governor’s Residence Council rounds out Representative Morrow’s new responsibilities.

The range of appointments reflects my commitment to higher education, improving our legislature’s processes, and serving our state. I am ready to roll up my sleeves and get to work.

This month marked Representative Morrow’s start as an Assistant Majority Leader in the Minnesota House.  In addition to these national and regional appointments, Representative Morrow serves on the Transportation Finance and Policy Division, the Transportation and Transit Policy and Oversight Division, the Agriculture, Rural Economies, and Veterans Affairs Committee, and the State and Local Government Operations Reform Committee.
