Here’s what KEYC reported about Terry’s thoughts regarding change in MnDOT leadership:

St. Peter representative Terry Morrow serves on the House transportation committee. He says that while he’s not taking a position on [Senator] Murphy’s call [for the Commissioner of Transportation’s resignation], he does have his concerns about MNDOT.

Rep. Terry Morrow says, ‘I do think it’s time we have an open discussion about the role of the commissioner, the job responsibilities of the commissioner, and whether the current commissioner has fulfilled those responsibilities.’

Morrow says he’s more concerned with getting adequate funding for transportation than he is about who’s in charge.

Morrow says, ‘This should not be a partisan issue; I’m hoping it’s not a partisan issue. I just want a competent, honest, responsible leader who says ‘we have a problem, let’s fix it.’”
