Morrow committed to biofuels, education

Mankato Free Press, Sept. 21, 2006

Terry Morrow’s vision for our area concentrates upon creating conditions that will allow our children to live locally and compete globally.

He teaches public speaking and communication ethics at Gustavus Adolphus College and is the chair person of the St. Peter School Board. He is also concerned about global warming and he strongly supports ethanol and biodiesel because they are among the many steps we can take to help solve that problem now. These are exciting economic opportunities for our area.

Morrow drives an E-85 Ford Taurus. Morrow has talked with representatives of the Minnesota Corngrowers Association and the Minnesota Soybean Growers Association to learn how, as our representative, he can help our region expand its share of these markets.

As Morrow says, ethanol and biodiesel bring good jobs, increase our national security, reduce our reliance upon foreign oil and help the environment. His commitment to education and to ethanol and biodiesel are unmatched in this election.
